- Partner-Track Associate Orthodontist East Tennessee
Description
Sturgill Orthodontics is a doctor-led, boutique modern orthodontic practice seeking a long-term orthodontist to join our team of four orthodontists across our Johnson City and Bristol locations. This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where doctors work alongside one another — often with multiple orthodontists in the same clinic — supported by a deeply trained team and fully digital workflow with an in-house lab. Our philosophy centers on exceptional finishing standards, comprehensive diagnosis, and high-quality orthodontics, not “fast and dirty” treatment. The practice is heavily braces-focused (≈80%) and offers advanced clinical exposure including TADs, MARPE, orthognathic surgery, airway-focused treatment planning, TMJ therapy including Botox, and soft tissue laser procedures.
Doctors typically work a four-day week and see approximately 70–100 patients per day within a large, high-end 15-chair boutique setting. You’ll join a collaborative culture led by Dr. Sturgill — a frequent AAO speaker, consultant, and author — where mentorship, growth, and clinical excellence are core to the organization. This is not a corporate position and not intended for short-term associates; we are seeking a humble, growth-minded orthodontist who wants to build a long-term career within a renowned team. Compensation includes a competitive base salary with performance-based bonus structure, and a partnership track is available for the right long-term fit.
Located in the Appalachian Highlands, our communities offer a low cost of living, strong family-friendly environment, and abundant outdoor mountain lifestyle opportunities.
