Outstanding Opportunity for a BC/BE Craniofacial Orthodontist in Miami

Nicklaus Children's Hospital, a 309-bed freestanding children's hospital and ACS-verified Level 1 pediatric trauma center, and Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists, the physician multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children's Health System, have an exceptional opportunity for a craniofacial orthodontist. Applicants must be board certified and/or board eligible by the American Board of Orthodontics, have completed a 12-month university or hospital-based craniofacial orthodontics fellowship program and eligible for/have an active unrestricted dental license issued in the State of Florida.

The Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital offers comprehensive dental services for children of all ages from infants up to age 21. Our pediatric dentistry facilities are designed to meet the unique needs of healthy infants, children and adolescents and to address the special needs of patients with complex medical and dental issues. Critical to this role are skills and knowledge in the assessment and treatment of congenital and acquired craniofacial and cleft anomalies, dental and facial trauma, along with general orthodontics from newborns to young adults in inpatient, outpatient and operating room settings. The candidate will participate in the development and implementation of departmental goals, as well as support scholarly activities including research and grant procurement and management.
