It is not your typical small town in Iowa. The county population is 18,540 and growing. In the summer it is approximately 100,000 + due to the influx of summer residents who live here during the summer. The school websites are spirit-lake.k12.ia.us and okobojischools.org. Many new homes are being built to accommodate the influx of people moving to the lakes. If you love outdoor sports, fishing, hunting, boating, sailing, golf, tennis, pickleball, hiking or biking, cross-country skiing, rollerblading, on the trails system throughout the lakes area then you need to be here. Arnolds Park Amusement Park on West Okoboji, has been completely renovated with millions of dollars in donations. If you like arts and culture with summer concerts at the Roof Garden and the new incredible covered Preservation Plaza in Arnolds Park, hosting Electric Light Orchestra, Willie Nelson, Casey Muessigmann, Styx, Billy Bob Thorton, and Crowder all for free! Stephens College runs the Okoboji Summer Theatre (stephens.edu), with theatre students and professional actors during the summer. The Pearson Lakes Art Center (Lakesart.org) has classes for adults and children as well as touring art exhibits, and professional stage shows throughout the year in their beautiful facility. We just had the University of Okoboji Winter Games in January with 4 days of activities on and around the frozen lakes.
Newell Orthodontics PC has been located in Spirit Lake, IA since 1978. The office in Spirit Lake can operate with 2 or 3 chairs, has full lab, 4 year old Carestream 3D pan/ ceph machine and iTero Scanner in Spirit Lake and a portable new iTero scanner that we use in satellite offices. A satellite office in Windom, MN started in 1988, has 3 chairs, 4 year old Pan/ceph machine full lab and full inventory it was built in 2009 and is condominiumized with Lewis Drug and Sanford clinics. Second Satellite was opened in 1993 in Worthington, MN now located in the Avera Medical Center Outreach Clinic. We have 2 operatories with limited Lab and no imaging. I have cut back our schedule the last 2 years for family reasons. I work Mon, Tues, and Wed mornings in Spirit Lake. Wed. afternoons staff takes records and scans for Invisalign. I go to Windom and Worthington 2 days each month alternating. We see patients from 11 counties in Iowa and Minnesota. I have one chairside assistant, one person who does insurance and contracts and one receptionist. We see on average 48-58 patients a day in each office. We are transitioning to Carestream Sensi Cloud practice management next month. We have grossed over $1M/ year since 2019 and should be over $1.2M working 3.5 days a week this year. The practice has been valued by True North Practice Transitions last year at $875,000 not including buildings. Company History

Company was started in 1978 and we have expanded into 2 satellite offices in Windom, MN (1988) and we built a new office in a location with Lewis Drug and Sanford Medical Center in 2009. I own the inside and the outside is leased. Another satellite is located in Worthington, MN (1993) and is located in the Avera Medical Center in the Outreach Clinic. I own the chairs and dental units in the 2 operatories.
