Our Locations
TenBrook Orthodontics has 11 established locations to serve the Delaware Valley. Our office locations are in the heart of southern New Jersey, nestled between Philadelphia metropolitan area and Atlantic City. New York City is about a two-hour drive to the north as well. Our offices are located in Burlington, Gloucester, Salem, Atlantic and Cumberland Counties.

Our corporate center is located in historic Millville, New Jersey, “The Holly City of America” (see www.hollycity.com ). Millville is also home to the New Jersey Motorsports Park and the beautifully restored Levoy Theater. The Pine Barrens of southern New Jersey are representative of the nature of the area, which is largely rural.

TenBrook Orthodontics was founded in 1993 by Dr. James TenBrook ( Harvard D.M.D.).
From founding through 2019, the Company established its differentiated patient service and operational model:

Dr. James TenBrook, Our Founder, is a South Jersey native, is the founder of TenBrook Orthodontics, with eleven locations in South Jersey. Harvard trained and practicing for over 27 years, he invented the T1 and T-Clear TenBrook Self Ligating Braces System, which is not only comfortable but cuts the wear time and cost often in half. Dr. T’s philosophy: “Straight teeth should be affordable for all, not a luxury for the few.”
Dr. TenBrook’s Story
“My mother got a second job just so my brother and I could get the braces we needed. She knew the importance of a good smile and how far that could take us in life. I was one of the lucky ones – most kids I grew up with just did without. That experience stuck with me through med school, and all through my orthodontic education at Harvard. I was determined to make braces a better overall experience as well as affordable for all. I invented the T1 bracket, which is comfortable and cuts treatment time in half. The best part is that I am able to offer it at a fraction of the cost of my competitors. Excellent quality, better prices.”
TenBrook's patented TenBrook T1 braces— combined with the TenBrook body heat-activated, nickel titanium, micro arch wires—enable the team at TenBrook to give their patients a one-of-a-kind experience.
“The design of the T1 braces reduces friction between the arch wires and the brace slot; this in turn allows us to move teeth with much less force,” says Dr. TenBrook. “In fact, our treatment wires deliver up to one-half and one quarter the forces that the industry standard delivers to your teeth. By reducing the force delivered to your teeth, you minimize pain and deliver much healthier tooth movement to your gums and surrounding periodontium.”
Because the T1 braces are designed purposely in the shape of an ellipse or circle, more comfort is provided to the patients’ cheeks and lips.
The TenBrook braces also reduce the amount of time patients are wearing their braces significantly. “Currently 70 percent of our cases are finishing in about one year (12-15 months),” says Dr. TenBrook. “This [is comparable] to the industry standard of 27 months or about two-and-a-half to three years.”
Dr. TenBrook assures us that moving the teeth at this faster pace is not harmful to the teeth at all. In fact, their lower forces with the T1 system are much more physiologic to the bone and gum leading to overall healthier tooth movement.
