Hello,

My name is Zane and I am an orthodontist/owner for a three-location (soon to be four) practice in the Houston suburbs of Spring, Cypress, Conroe, and Katy, Texas. Our Katy office opens this year and will be co-located with an alpaca farm. My husband, Chuck, is the practice manager, and we currently have a herd of alpacas, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but my grandfathers are Pakistani and my grandmothers are German and Austrian.

We believe in making orthodontic treatment easy and accessible to everyone. We have maintained low fees since opening in 2016. We typically see 75-95 patients a day. We treat conservatively, we do not push treatment, and we do not encourage same-day starts. Oftentimes the best service we can provide is helping a new patient consultation find a good general dental home. We are a diverse/multi-lingual practice, pro-LGBTQ, and enjoy treating patients who cannot afford treatment otherwise. We are a team of 25 very skilled and highly motivated employees.

The practice model is systems and protocol based. Our treatment planning, appliances and mechanics are simple and delegable.   

Part-time associates are typically scheduled three days per week, and we are always closed on Saturdays and Sundays - No weekends! Associates will be working in all office locations. If you are looking for a full-time opportunity, please let me know.

We offer a tiered, per diem compensation package that includes an initial training and credentialing period, followed by a "Board Certification period" where the salary is increased after becoming ABO Board Certified. This is followed by a one-year anniversary and subsequent anniversary salary increases.

I enjoy mentoring orthodontists in becoming excellent clinicians and practice owners. Even though not all orthodontists desire to become a practice owner, we are always happy to open the books and share our experience and lessons learned with our associates who want to open their own practice after their time with us.
