An established orthodontic practice serving multiple communities in Southeast Iowa is seeking a compassionate and experienced orthodontist to provide temporary clinical coverage during an unexpected ownership transition.
The practice has locations in Burlington, Fort Madison, and Keokuk, Iowa, and has built a longstanding reputation for providing high-quality, patient-centered orthodontic care to families throughout the surrounding region. The selected orthodontist will work alongside an experienced and dedicated team to ensure continuity of care for current patients while the practice identifies the right long-term successor.
Position Overview
This opportunity is ideal for an orthodontist who enjoys working in a well-established private-practice environment and is interested in a flexible, temporary arrangement. Responsibilities will primarily include overseeing active orthodontic treatment, evaluating patient progress, making appropriate treatment adjustments, addressing urgent clinical needs, and supporting the practice team in maintaining an excellent patient experience.
The anticipated length, schedule, and structure of the engagement are flexible and can be tailored to the availability of the selected candidate. Orthodontists who are available for recurring coverage—even if not available on a full-time basis—are encouraged to apply.

Requirements
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
Certificate from an accredited orthodontic residency program
Eligible for or currently holding an active Iowa dental license
Strong clinical judgment and commitment to quality patient care
Professional, compassionate, and comfortable working with patients of all ages
Ability to collaborate effectively with an experienced clinical and administrative team
